Product Description

Lorcet relieves pain. Acetaminophen is a less potent pain reliever that increases the effects of Lorcet. Together, acetaminophen and Lorcet are used to relieve moderate-to-severe pain. Acetaminophen and Lorcet may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

Precautions:

Avoid alcohol while taking Lorcet. Alcohol can increase drowsiness and dizziness caused by the medication, possibly resulting in unconsciousness and death. Lorcet can be damaging to the liver when taken with alcohol. Use Lorcet with caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. It may cause drowsiness or dizziness. If you experience drowsiness or dizziness, avoid these activities.

Side Effects:

If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking Lorcet and seek emergency medical attention: an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives); slow, weak breathing;seizures;cold, clammy skin and decreased sex drive

Overdose:

Seek emergency medical attention as soon as possible if you present an overdose with Lorcet. Symptoms of a Lorcet overdose may include slow breathing, seizures, dizziness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, and sweating.
